살아있는 역사책 미동부 워싱턴디씨의 스미소니언 박물관(Smithsonian)

미동부 워싱턴D.C. 에 가면 꼭 들러봐야할 스미소니언 박물관

지난 날의 사진들을 돌아보다가

미동부의 워싱턴디씨에서 참 잘했다 싶은 이야기가 있는데

바로 그곳에 위치한 스미소니언 박물관을 대부분 둘러봤다는거. 

마치 도시 전체인 것처럼

거대하게 펼쳐져 있는 박물관의 모습들이 대단하기도 하고 부럽기도 하고 그랬음.

고대유물부터 현대를 상징하는 현대역자적 유물까지.

스토리만 잘 짜서 아이들과 방문한다면

세상에 이보다 더 좋은 그림책, 역사책, 소설책이 또 있을까 싶다.

헤아릴 수 없이 많은 전시물들을 다 담을 수는 없었으나,

몇개나마 신기하고 호기심을 불러 일으켰던 전시물들은 다행히 사진으로 담아왔으니

짬짬히 스미소니언 박물관의 제목으로 올려볼까 함.
